Bodh believes in
Research being undertaken not only as independent activity, but also
something cutting across all parts of the program. It is our belief
that a learning teacher is a better teacher and to make teachers
reflective practitioners. The vision of the organization is to create
a pool of teachers within the organization (starting with its Urban
program) who are able to undertake classroom studies and action
research within their classrooms. These teacher researchers are seen
as agents of change within the schools with an ability to think about
and analyze the practice within their own classrooms and in their
schools and suggest means of improvement. They are expected to act as
catalysts for the process of innovation at the school level.
