What is the duration of the contract?
All positions in Bodh are contractual, usually of one-year
duration. This is, however, usually renewed on a year-to-year
basis. The reason for this is that the contracts for the projects
undertaken by us are renewed on a year-to-year basis based on the
performance of the previous year.
What is the pay?
The payments in the organization are consolidated (inclusive of
PF). They are part of a scale, so you will get a 5% annual
increment.
How soon would I be asked to join?
As soon as possible. Of course we can understand if you need a
month's notice (after all we expect the same if one of our
employees leaves)
What does a posting in Rural/Urban actually mean?
A person hired for the rural program is expected to stay in the
rural area. This means staying in one of the cluster offices that
are located in small towns of rural Alwar District (Thanagazi or
Rural Alwar Block). There is staff (including female staff)
already there, so you would not be starting alone. Teachers
in the rural program, however, are expected to stay in the village
where they have been posted.
I am new to Jaipur/Alwar. Where can I stay?
There is no campus as such and you would eventually have to make
your own arrangements for stay. However, some immediate
arrangements to accommodate you after arrival and until you find a
room for yourself may be made.
My interview has taken place. How do I come to know if I have been
selected?
You will be intimated by email/post. If necessary, we may also
call you. Make sure that the postal address, email, and telephone
number listed are correct.
There is no vacant post advertised. Could I still apply?
